This script demonstrates how to use the standard Windows 2012 Storage Management commands to manage your ISE. It requires the user to install the X-IO Storage Management Provider for Windows 2012 or Windows 2012 R2 and register the ISE with the config tool.

The SM Provider allows an administrator to manage ISE by leveraging the standard Windows Storage Management commands such as New-VirtualDisk and Get-MaskingSet rather than learning a hardware specific API.
